Martin provides technical and commercial management of and innovative solutions for port & maritime projects, master planning, port optimisation, due diligence, feasibility, design, expert witness work, and reviews for port facilities.
Projects include container terminals, offshore wind ports (ORE/FLOW), LNG and petrochemical facilities, cruise facilities, ferry terminals, general cargo, fishing harbours and marinas. Work has included quay and jetty design, dredging, rock groynes, revetments, breakwaters, concrete armour units, beach replenishment, seawalls, port design reviews, master planning, port operations review and expert work.
Martin frequently gives maritime industry presentations, technical papers and has experience as an expert of LCIA, ICC, ICSID, SIAC, Scottish Court of Session, Indian and Australian based construction disputes as well as planning inquiries. He is presently Chairman of PIANC WG224 on Planning of Fishing Ports, and a UK committee member for PIANC and CEDA. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from University College Dublin.
MML provides market, operational, geotechnical, structural modelling, materials handling, equipment, CAD and architectural support as required per project.
